Embassy & Consular Legalisation

For countries outside the Hague Convention, an apostille is not enough — embassy attestations are coordinated end to end.

What this covers

A small number of destinations — including several in the Gulf and North Africa — require the document to be legalised by their own embassy or consulate in London after (and sometimes instead of) the FCDO stage. Requirements, fees and timings are set by each embassy, not by me, and change frequently. I advise the current route for your country before you book.

Typical documents

  • Two-stage legalisation — Notary → FCDO → embassy/consulate, sequenced and couriered for you.
  • Pre-approval of wording — Where an embassy requires specific clauses, these are agreed before execution to avoid rejection.
  • Certified translations — Arabic and other translations sworn where the receiving authority requires them.
  • Status updates — You are told which stage the document is at while it is out of our hands.

What to bring / send

  • A scan or photo of the document (or the wording you have been given) by email or WhatsApp.
  • Your valid passport and proof of address, dated within three months.
  • The name of the country and authority where the document will be used.
  • Any deadline you are working to — it shapes the route we choose.

Ready when you are.

Send the document, tell me the country, get a fixed fee — we reply any time of day: this is a 24-hour service.
