Personal Documents & Declarations
Affidavits, statutory declarations, oaths and consents — prepared, witnessed and sealed for use abroad.
What this covers
Many official bodies outside the UK will only accept a personal statement, declaration or consent if it has been sworn or certified before a notary public. I prepare the wording where required, check your identity, witness your signature and apply my notarial seal so the document is recognised abroad.
Typical documents
- Affidavits & statutory declarations — Sworn statements of fact for courts, authorities and foreign administrations.
- Parental consent for a child to travel — Often needed where one parent is not travelling — accepted by embassies and border authorities worldwide.
- Proof of address, income or single status declarations — Single-occasion declarations for banks, landlords, tax and immigration purposes.
- Medical & financial consents — Declarations and authorities for treatment, care or account management overseas.
- Certified copies of personal documents — Passports, birth, marriage and death certificates, degree certificates, driving licences.
- Attestations & witness statements — Signing in my presence is normally required; bring the original documents with you.
